- Cocci: Spherical-shaped bacteria.
- Bacilli: Rod-shaped bacteria.
- Spirilla: Spiral-shaped bacteria.
- Vibrio: Curved rod-shaped bacteria.
- Spirochetes: Spiral-shaped bacteria with a corkscrew-like appearance.
